I have a 1999 Dodge Dakota. Since I got it new there have been a multitude of problems.
Ranging from bad ball joints at 40k, numerous electrical issues, sensors, fan clutches, and door locks. Not to mention continuous check engine lights, bad ABS sensors. But the latest is the most bizarre of all. Just to replace a bad blower motor, the entire dashboard including the steering column had to be removed.
I had to add coolant and recharge the A/C. This is Detroit engineering for you. This will be the last piece of UAW built *** I will ever buy.
Love my Camry, and soon to buy a Tacoma.
Monetary Loss: $1200.
