Seat belt recall

I brought my car to the dealer and waited for them to replace the seat belt mechanisms. They replaced the very quickly. I got car back not testing the light on the dash with seatbelt disconnected. Realised it wasn't working like it should. Scheduled time to bring car back in after noticed the light not working. I brought the car back in and was told by the desk that my car was out of warrantee and if they have to diagnose or change any parts that I would have to pay for the parts or diagnosis. I said the light was working ok before you touched it. I been buying all my cars from Rt 18 Dodge I don't think I will be buying anything from them ever again. I think they lost my business I live in Staten Island I had to wake up early to get here early any they are trying to make something out of nothing.

2012 DODGE RAM TRUCK

HEATER CORE WENT BAD AND DODGE REFUSES TO PAY ANY PART OF REPAIR BILL THAT WILL COST APPROX. $800-$1100 TO REPAIR. TRUCK LIKE BRAND NEW AND ONLY 30K MILES (AVERAGE MILEAGE IS 12-15K PER YEAR). THEY SAID DUE TO "AGE" OF TRUCK THEY CAN'T HELP. DONE WITH DODGE!! POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!! OBVIOUSLY THEY DON'T STAND BEHIND THEIR PRODUCT. WILL BE SURE TO FAMILY/FRIENDS AND POST ON SOCIAL MEDIA TO STAY AWAY FROM DODGE. WE WERE TOLD NOT TO BUY DODGE BUT HAD BEEN HAPPY WITH OUR JEEPS, SO DECIDED TO GO THIS ROUTE. HUGE MISTAKE! I have problems with my key Ignition switch (Win module) I can't believe this is not A recall model .It cost me $400 for the Win module and then another $135 to get it programmed and then another $150 to get keys program to work this is bull *** $700 for Ignition switch I feel like I'm driving a Ford bull ***

My 2014 joutney is on its second navigation system and this one is not working. I had it replaced due to a recall in 2015. It says no maps and my dvd also is not working. I have 67000km so am over my warranty. If i would have gone in when it first happened i would have not had to pay. Have been sick for over a year so have had no time to go in. Why would i pay over $1000 for repairs for it to break again. Last dodge i buy! Going to trade in this lemon!

Major parts failures

I have a 2013 dodge dart bought new. Within 3 months i had car break down 2 times where car stopped and would not start. After dealer trying to fix they finally had to have the transmission completely replaced. Now after 4 years and breaking down several times again (i have now moved to arizona) the dealer is telling us that the turbo now has to be replaced. The car has only 24,000 miles on it! My warranty will be up in less than 4 months. I want the warranty extended. This is unacceptable.

Won't start

Took my car to shop on 9-11-2017. Engine light on and off intermittently. Won't start sometimes. Just clicks when you try to start it. They decide I need a manifold !!!! Can't find anything wrong with the one I have but I must need a new one. Don't know why we have starting issues even though the ignition has been recalled and replaced twice it can't be that. Lol...I'm done with Dodge. You lie and suck people dry with your ***.

2012 Dodge Journey

We have been experiencing the no start problem with our 2012 Dodge Journey that many others have complained about. It is totally random. It can be warm out, cold out, rainy, sunny. Does not seem to matter. And YES we have replaced the battery and we have had into a Dodge Dealer. It is getting rather annoying as this issue has been on going for over a year now. Normally we just have to hook the jumper cables up and it will start up. Sometimes the check engine light will come on for a few days and then go off. Sometimes the temp will read -40. Sometimes other warning lights will come on. I make sure at night i shut down the heater/a/c and I wait till I hear it shut down before I shut my car off. I also turn off the radio at night.

Left stranded again!!!!!!!!!

2008 **** My husband was a Special Forces Capt, highly decorated with 5 purple hearts, bronze star, silver star and laid to rest in Arlington as of 3 years ago. He is our hero!!!! We have 5 children, some are adults and one is still a minor also their are grandchildren that depend on that truck to provide transportation and put bread on the table. He purchased it here in nc used withlow miles. It rode to rough with injuries in his body, so we traded trucks with eack other. I had a chevrolet . After he died i gave the chevrolet, to my son and kept the dodge he had ever so wanted because it reminded me of him. One of the main issues is the egr !!! Even before he died it left us stranded crossing a mountain hauling livestock. Took it in for repairs, as we had multiple times. From private mechanics to dodge as well. Local and out of state it has left us stranded. Dealership repaired it as they repaired the clamp on the turbo i had problems with before that. We adapted to fumes in the truck. Took it in multiple times before they found that issue. Well again it boke down and our personal mechanic, a retired certified diesel mechanic said it was the egr situation again. So consumer complaints dept said to take it back in to a dodge dealership before they would decide what to do to resolve it. Again paid a tow bill. EGR needed to be replaced. I thought it had been from a previous repair. It wasn't i found out , only cleaned. Therefore i had to eat the entire cost of it. The dealership felt bad that dodge would bot honor it since the emissions was just out of warranty. They did discount the job otherwise id have our person fix it. Although they identified another problem with the ac. As it had been eating compressors. That ac bill was over 900. And still wasnt repaired correctly. Also my snap on wheel hubcap on the drivers side was in the passenger floor and yellow paint was on the drivers side bumper! !! No one could explain or say why that was off for a repair that did t call for that to be removed! !! So here I am again badly needing my truck as I need it on the farm and for our lively hood. A few days ago it didnt seem to want to turn over as if the batteries were dead??? Bought new ones last year. Interstate Batteries. Had them checked and drivers side battery was bad, we replaced it. Still not starting. Replaced the starter also. So hauled her into the best dodge mechanic here in nc!!!! He repairs new fire engine trucks also. Even some that are under warranty and they cant fix, they send here to curtis. He told me that the turbo is bad and the engine is locked down. EGR had alot to do with it. Untill he looks further we dont know what damage has veen done. A used engine and labor to out in will be over 5 grand. Today i will call again for help from dodge to stand behind their products but i doubt they will. They will ask me to take it in to a rep for them only to tell me good luck:( I live on a strick budget untill times get better and have put thousands into her as scheduled maintenance as dodge required. In the event that something should happen they would stand behind it. Although my friend and personal mechanic is much cheaper. My advive to a widow out there is think long and hard and do your research of issues before buying or keeping a vehicle. Dont be sentimental as i have. Other then your family, there should be no sacred cowes in your pasture. And that comes from a combat vet, my husband. What was i thinking? ???

Dodge dealership was taken over by another dealership. Service people very unfriendly. Did not want to honor service contract. Service people left my truck in a very unprofffesional way. Put seat laid back arm rest down radio up! This is not the way they found it to just drive around the building they said well Dovanon doesnt own this dealership no more! Will be the last truck we buy there!!

Dodge does not make dependable cars, leaves owners stranded.

Daughter drives a Dodge Avenger. She has been unable to drive her car for six weeks. Dodge dealer isn't able to get the computer part from corporate. Two local dealer's refuse to use after market parts. Am told Dodge quit making service manuals for lay persons to purchase several years ago. I called Dodge corporate, learned the part is in high demand (? 'manufacturer defect'), and corporate is unable to determine when part will be available. No remedy offered. In addition, corporate offered no remediation. Bottom line, every working person's job application requires employees to have 'reliable transportation'. Dodge does NOT make reliable transportation. Additionally, they abandon their customers in their time of need.

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE

Bought oil change package from Dodge. I believe it was 4 oil changes for $100.00. I now have 1 left and I want to get an extention of a couple months because it has only been about 1,500 miles since my last oil change. Judy ...a case manager at Dodge HQ says NO. I have spent 2 hours on the phone with Dodge already trying to get to this point (NOWHERE). She wants me to call back after the original contract has expired and try again...REALLY? Like I trust the competance of any of them! Shouldn't a good customer service person be willing to see this thing through to completion? Very Stressful!

Dodge service centers

We were starting our 2 week vacation. Ended up in a Dodge service center. On a Friday. That means truck sits over the weekend n you are in line. But they won't tell You that. Finally found the issue. Diagnosis says fuel injection pump. Was told I am good to go. Change fuel filter in 2599 miles. We made it less than 100 miles. Then back to another Dodge service center. On a Friday n same thing. Then I was told about the fact that Dodge changed the pump system. ALTHOUGH THE FIRST SERVICE DEPT NEVER ADVISED ME OF THIS. I had a service tech tell me this. So they started Monday. Had truck till Friday. Fixed many things the first service center did not catch or repair. AMAZING!!! No continuity between one center to the other. I was told to come pick up truck as it's ready to go. Only to drive less than five miles and we knew it wasn't correct yet. They test drive truck. Told me it's the clutch. I said no way. Just was rebuilt. Then I was told it's the turbo charger. That's when I quit. I found an independent mechanic that fixed the problem in a few hours and he said it makes no sense what was done. Incompetence was the word. He had seen this from this Service center before. Come to find out they put the OLD LIFT PUMP ON EVEN THOUGH WE SPOKE IF THE RETRO IMPLEMENTATED BY DODGE. That's my main complaint. Anyone else out there experience the same let's talk. Thank You J S

New 2017 Dodge Diesel 2500 Truck Broken Turbo

Bought my Dodge 2500 Diesel on July 17th. Drove it to San Clemente on July 22nd towing my 7300lb. Trailer. Got to the camp site and the warning "Exhaust System Service Required contact Dealer" came up on the dash. Called the dealer said to drop off the truck which I did on Saturday the 22nd around 1:00PM. I didn't hear back from the dealer until Tuesday and the words he used were "Catastrophic Failure of the turbo charger". Which he sent a photo and he was correct. It could have been worse I got to the campsite and got everything set up before I took the truck. I called Chrysler and filed a claim which they gave me a claim number. Everyday I have been waiting to hear something. I had my campsite reserved 6 months in advance as well as the people who are supposed to be after me. The campsite has been amazing they heard my story and have accommodated me by letting me stay in the site until my truck is repaired and moved the people that were supposed to be in my site to an emergency site. I was supposed to be out on the 29th. I have had to pay $65 every morning while my truck is being repaired. The dealer notified me last night that the turbo had arrived and they would start repairs this morning (which they have). I spoke with the dealer and was told that they are trying to flush the Intercooler however they may need to order that part as well. I called Chrysler yesterday and left a message for my assigned Rep with the voice mail saying he would call me back within 24 hours. Well called him again this morning and had to get transferred to someone else that finally got him on the line. I asked him what was he going to do to help me get this resolved. I was not going to stay another day. I have a brand new truck I haven't made a payment on and haven't had for the past 11 days. It is costing me real money that is not any fault of mine. I asked for a truck to replace my truck until its finished. He said he would call me back today and I am waiting. On top of this I have had to fly my wife back to our home so she can go to work and I am supposed to leave for the second week of my vacation on Friday to Montana. Did I mention I was on vacation this while time trying to figure out what is going on and how I was going to get my trailer home. The dealer seems to be doing all they can however Chrysler seems to be dragging their feet and will not commit to anything other than fixing the faulty truck I purchased from them. Stay tuned because this isn't over.

The nice new one you planned to take on your long-planned vacation ?

Yikes, I feel terrible for you ; what a hassle.

Of course now you'll never trust that truck 100% no matter how they repair it.

I was a Mopar buyer/lease from 1966-**** . Then they pulled the dirtiest maneuver in the history of auto leasing which I was compelled to hire an attorney to rectify.

Trouble is, they just don't care when they lose a customer for life.

You probably can't squeeze much out of that lemon except repairs. They won't even consider any of your incidental expenses.
